With a few bucks in his pocket PLUS a Mexican visa, it will give him time to make a new plan to walk right across the border into the U.S. where he will disappear into America, maybe show up in Chicago someplace.

Work there until they can get across the border on their own one way or another - some have admitted on camera that is their plan. It's better to be able to pay their way in the meantime instead of living in dangerous squalor with the dead-end invaders.
In other news, have heard that the invaders are at odds about who does what and how and are breaking into factions.

Since their “American dream” was to invade this country and immediately start sucking welfare from the hard working overburdened taxpayers of the USA. I’d say a job is going to be quite a let down for them.

Mexico is the most natural place for them to migrate to. Familiar language, familiar culture, familiar people and more economic opportunities than in their own countries. But as they are already learning, even Mexican welcome will have its limit.
