Amen. Thanks for all the sacrifices your family has done. I recognize that gift of hospitality. I pastor a network of house churches, most of them in persecuted countries. Most people on this thread obviously do not understand the sacrifice it really takes in some cases to live the CHRISTIAN life. That is because American Christianity is really weak when compared to what I see elsewhere. There’s no comparison. There’s no understanding that God can direct you into harms way for His glory just like He did Jim Elliot. The carnal mind doesn’t understand God. To them, it’s foolishness and we are seeing it firsthand here.

The just will live by faith, and I feel there are few in this country that have ever actually had to do that...day by day...walking by faith and not by sight. But yes, missionaries can tell you true stories of faith. But again, even these are foolishness to the carnal minds of the “wise.” They are just “idiots” who are self-fulfilling their own calling. Pretty sad.

His body still being there still could endanger the people. I understand there's an effort by those who have had contact with the tribe before to obtain his body but they have said this would take much time and preparation. I believe some of them are anthropologists along with others. Frequently these people have food drops near their shoreline by India..and they are accustomed to seeing those boats and those who operate them. I suspect they too will attempt to arrange removal of the body.
