Thanks all.
Voted Colorado all Rs, no retention, no spending, no taxing, no pot
+Voted here in Giles County, VA
I voted early last week.
Dr Phil Roe for Congress
Marsha Black for Senate
Bill Lee for governor
In Arizona:
—Ducey for governor
—McSally for senator (Good GAWD, keep that skanky extremist leftist FemiNazi Sinema OUT of the Senate!!)
—I don’t remember the rest of the candidates I voted for, I just made sure they were Republicans
Voted a bit after 11:00, no line, all 10 booths filled, light but steady traffic in and out of the school. Local media says its huge, Turnout “will definitely set records”:
Voted early this morning in rural eastern NC. Our Fed House candidate (district 3) was running unopposed. Walter Jones (R)
Heading out of work now, going home and throwing a steak on the grill, have a cold one or two and settle in for the show.
Cautiously optimistic my FRiends!
We voted the “Right” way. Heavy turnout at our polling station (over 700 had already voted BEFORE 9:30AM, which is huge), lots of older ADULTS and report from someone/polling station 12 miles away = heaviest turnout for a mid-term election they have ever had. Also, another huge factor: “PROOF OF RESIDENCY” IS NOW REQUIRED THROUGHOUT New Hampshire and they were checking the I’D of EVERYONE seeking to vote, the POLICE WERE PRESENT! = No more bussing people in from Massachusetts, or out of state students fraudulently screwing up the election results.
Voted in NC. CNN was there but didn’t see crystal meth or genital rope.
2 done straight R in Florida
I voted here in MA
Just cast our GOP 2 votes for Mike Braun to throw out Joe Donnelly and defeat the Liz Watsherface challenging Hollingsworth.
May every dirty pro-choice dimwit meet utter defeat tonight.
MAGA
Mrs. BCC voted through the mail 3 weeks ago. I put it off until about an hour ago.
Voted at 3 pm in Sonoma County.
Tiny polling place in elementary, only 4 people voting.
It angered me that the choice for CA senator was a Democrat or a ... Democrat. Argh!! I ended up voting for the other (D) guy instead of Feinstein.
Funny thing, my story is so dated that we looked at a later printed newspaper to see the exact local result totals to see if his dad’s write-in name appeared as one vote.
To young FReepers: A printed newspaper had paper pages with ink words. People used to wait to the next morning to get the first ones to see the latest news.
Note: I used to tell young student assistants at work about vinyl LPs. Then suddenly one year they nodded and said “Yeah, I know. I have some vinyl. Love it. So much warmer sound.”
This was at the peak of CD era and end of cassettes. A blip for vinyl sales then but billions a year bought now. You never know.
Checking in:
I voted straight Republican (well, of course!)
NH1
Weather: Drizzle 50°
Turnout: Highest Ive ever seen
Hubby and I voted after work today. Very small precinct, but it was steady. Lots of people wearing red. Both of us voted straight R. Checked to make sure the machine did not change it to D before casting the ballot.
