A supplier to Dick’s Sporting Goods is suing the nationwide chain for breach of contract and fraud for abruptly stopping its sale of certain weapons and refusing for nearly a year to accept delivery of ammunition it had ordered.

If Dick’s was smart they would have said once they are done honoring their remaining contracts they will cease to sell certain types of ammo and firearms. It would still tick people off, but it would prevent any legal action being taken. Now their suppliers can sue for breech of contract, get incurred interest, other damages, and may still get to keep their ammo!
Who is going to buy anything from this nation-wide chain? They may be receiving under the table money to pull off this stunt as you called it.
Excellent. Breach of contract is breach of contract, purely business. Fraud. Fuch I’d even go RICO on it just to stress them out more.
A movie theatre just closed in our local mall and guess who is going to take over the space? Yep, Dick’s. Don’t know how well they might do as this is a fairly Conservative area and there is some stiff competition here for outdoors products. One thing I do know is that I won’t be buying anything from them.

Yes, the were Big Dicks but they went soft and are becoming Little Dicks. They shot their load when they abrubtly stopped selling guns and now customers are leaving the stores all spent but with empty sacks. They managed to replace the old Maytag Repairman with Dick’s Sales Associate as the worlds loneliest profession.
I haven’t set foot in the place since their new policy.
And you know what? Their stuff is sh*t anyway. I used to buy my T-shirts there, plain black or white shirts by Russell that were made well and lasted a few months.
Now, all they have is shirts where you pay to advertise some brand which is promoting globohomo, made in Bangladesh by child slaves and marked up 1000%.
Screw ‘em. Hope they fail soon.
