Correct. People are far too polite when dealing with mendacity. I understand it wasn't necessary to impeach the witness to justify the confirmation and simply couching this in terms of due process was sufficient, but Kavanaugh will still have a cloud over his name in many circles. Ford needs to be exposed as a complete fraud and the "testimony" a sham from the start.
I don't think we've heard the last of this because the main lessons Democrats learned here is that you need "corroborating" perjurers to go along with the smear to make things stick next time. That's why this needs to be exposed for the outright lie it was from the outset.

A lot more than abortion. At the heart is money, power, and concealment of criminal activity. The women protesting are just useful pawns.

This is true for the leaders of the Democratic Party, in particular the Clintons.
We would be remiss if we think the GOP doesn't include some shady characters who use party politics to their own advantage and to the detriment to their voters.
The Cheap Labour Express comes to the top of my mind, you could think of some as well I'm sure.
However what gives them their power base in this instance is still abortion or, as the Dims put it "reproductive rights"
It's a sham we agree but abortion gets the lunatics out in the streets.

I don't know that Ford believes she's lying. She's presumably an expert on self-hypnosis and recovered memories and other soft-science
psychobabble etched on her inedible hippopotamus.
That said, she's either a malign and devious leftist stooge, or a traipsing irresponsible dingbat. There's no middle ground here.

Those words kinda sound like the words you meant, but I think you missed the mark on the language you posted.

I would go so far as to say her Dad, with her mother’s full knowledge and consent. I also suspect, though not strongly, that it was ritualistic in nature.

I might suggest research into the exclusive all men’s club that her father was president of.

...make sure you talk to the other 47 senators... Other 49 senators.
On teh substance of the article - I firmly believe that direct verbal pushback is required when the media puts incendiary words in an R politician's mouth. In this case, something akin to "Dana, you know that is not what I just said, and your partisan attempt to change the meaning of what I did say speaks to your character issues. If you'd like to have an interview, perhaps you would stop being an advocate for about 10 seconds?"
