Kavanaugh accuser has not yet accepted invitation to testify before Congress

Much has been made of Kavanaugh accuser Christine Blasey Ford’s invitation to testify before an open hearing of the Senate Judiciary Committee next week -- but it’s not yet set in stone she will actually show.

Fox News is told that the Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee on Monday night reached out to Ford’s lawyers to invite her to next Monday’s open hearing to discuss her allegation of sexual assault against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, but she has not responded yet.

Ford, a California-based professor, revealed her identity over the weekend in a Washington Post report. She said that Kavanaugh, while in high school, pinned her down, tried to remove her bathing suit and put his hand over her mouth when she attempted to scream. Kavanaugh has denied the allegation.

The announcement of the last-minute hearing evoked memories of the 1991 Clarence Thomas confirmation hearings, where senators scrambled to arrange a hearing after Thomas was confronted with sexual harassment accusations by law professor Anita Hill. Thomas denied the accusations and was narrowly confirmed.

Amid calls to delay Thursday’s committee vote on Kavanaugh’s nomination, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, invited Kavanaugh and Ford to a public hearing Monday.

Feinswine didn’t care, she doesn’t care, the FBI correctly doesn’t care (no federal crime to investigate), the 10 Dems on the Senate committee don’t care. Hold the vote Monday afternoon.

Soros slimy hands are all over this.

Debra Katz, the attorney representingKavanaugh’s accuser — Christine Blasey Ford — is vice chair of the Project on Government Oversight, a left-leaning organization that has been directly funded by Soros’ Open Society Foundation.

Katz is also a hefty Democratic donor, giving thousands of dollars over the years to Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and other leftist candidates, as Front Page Mag reported.

Personally I think the Republicans should have scheduled the hearing in a day or two. Don’t give the democrats and entire week to thoroughly coach this crackpot into appearing reasonably sane for a couple hours and sealing up all the holes in her fishy story.

I read that Feinswine has additional letters from other “victims” of Kavanaugh that she plans to bring public in the near future. This is turning into a national nightmare...

Nonsense. This is nothing more than a calculated ploy by her handlers to make her appear ‘reluctant”.

If the GOP wasn’t a bunch of pathetic deep state fairies they would give her to Thursday to show up and if she doesn’t then they just go to vote as it proves she lying.

Look, if Feinstein has all this so-called “information”, she had an obligation to share it with the committee during the regular confirmation process. Not afterward.

Lying to Congress gets the not deeply connected an invitation to dress in prison orange for a few years. Maybe ‘orange’ is not her color.
