Sen. John McCain (R-AZ), who was diagnosed with brain cancer in July of 2017, has died. Its the same form that took the life of the late Sen. Ted Kennedy in 2009. Cortney wrote on Friday that Mr. McCain would be suspending medical treatment. For the past year, the Arizona Republican has been fighting the disease, which has kept him from Washington D.C. Sen. McCain cast the deciding vote in the GOPs failed attempt at the so-called skinny repeal of Obamacare. The measure went down 49-51. He has remained in Arizona for medical treatment since the end of 2017. Senator McCain was 81 years old, passing away nine years to the day of his colleague Sen. Kennedy, according to Jonathan Martin of The New York Times.
Mr. McCain ran for president in 2000 and 2008, becoming the Republican Party's nominee in the latter contest, though was ultimately not successful. He served with the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War, being shot down over North Vietnam in 1967, where he remained in captivity for nearly six years. He was released in 1973.
McCain succeeded Sen. Barry Goldwater, "Mr. Conservative," in 1987 after the latter decided to retire.

“I have assiduously followed Rev. Kings advice and did not judge him by the color of his skin!”
Would that color be yellow?
I judge him by the content of his character, which I exposed in my posts #115 & 120.
Skin color was not a factor!
PS It bothers me that no other former Naval Officers have responded to this thread. Nor have people who knew what a sleaze McCain was in Washington, DC.
I know it is not “proper” to speak ill of the dead, but not telling the truth about people is how history gets distorted.
It is likely that the vast majority of Americans believe John McCain was a hero: HE WAS NOT A HERO!
The true McCain story needs to be told; mine is but a small part of it.
All I can hope is that somehow, somewhere, there are people with the intestinal fortitude to step up and speak the truth about McCain’s life - and completely shatter the myths surrounding him.
Rip uniparty member. Globalist and true to that which is above America.
There once was a man named McCain,
Who caused the country great pain.
Scowlling and grinning
He trash talked us winning
And led the charge of insane.
Taxman. There are no myths about old john. There are however two movies playing out on one screen. People will see it the way they want to or are told too. Democrats I know are singing his praises now. They weren’t in 2008. They are clueless as what to believe unless told.
RIP maverick. Prayers for the family.
How short their memory is....

RIP to the millions of innocent men, women, and children that this decades-long warmonger is responsible for slaughtering. I also wish comfort to his family in their time of grieving.
McCain died as a thin skinned Republican elitist, doing bitter things to President Donald Trump who is a great man elected for and by the People. McCain was Obama’s dimmi , doing Obama’s bidding to support the jihad and ISIS.Obama used McCain like a common street whore who was left giggling because she had a few extra campaign bucks in her purse. McCain clad himself in the our flag to actually betray our country. And IMHO McCain knew exactly what Obama was using him for.
McCain was a decent enough politician until he lost the 2002 GOP presidential nomination to GW Bush. After that he was incredibly bitter. That is when he should have retired in 2002 because subsequently he was an agent provocateur to the GOP and actually sometimes engaged in treasonous activity internationally. He was strangely quiet on the Benghazi fiasco, when he could have led the charge.
One lurid example of McCain’s treasonous conduct was the bogus arms deal he brokered in Syria with the Magic Negro’s help, about 500 million dollars of small arms to a Syrian group of rebels of about 12 men who McCain had met for a photo op.The arms were sold on the black market in Syria as fast as they arrived, to ISIS and the Jihad, later to be used against our US soldiers and allies. The arms dealers in McCains pocket tickled his scrotum on that one, and McCain once again became Obama’s dimmi. Most Americans do not even know about this fiasco or the methods Obama used to support the jihad instead of fighting it.Obama used McCain to actually support ISIS.

McCain did little or nothing to help the cause against liberal fascism ,promoted and implemented by Obama.McCain could have been heroic in 2008 campaign but he fizzled, his powder wet instead of dry. Therefore the left now cynically lauds Senator McCains life, the way that Muslims laud their dimmis.
This article by Laz shows a genuinely true picture of McCain:

RIP.
While I did not agree with all your politics, your service to this country and bravery under fire can not be discounted.
Fins to the left.
Thank you, Taxman! Were sitting at an airport waiting for our flight, so I might just have to chime in again, lol.
BTTT about one of the biggest warmongering demons ever to be set loose amongst us.
We completely have to keep speaking the truth. I hope others do as well. McLettuce made it be known a long time ago how much respect he had for his constituents: ZERO. Even my parents were treated poorly by that maggot, since he supported open borders over U.S. citizens.
And another thing, Id actually have to see a corpse and DNA to believe hes actually dead. Supposedly hes getting cremated. 81 is not that old for such tremendous evil that has access to all the organs he wishes.
In response to a post by Sam_Damon, I responded thusly:
I would not have wanted to be in the Hanoi Hilton, either. In fact, I have often wondered how I might have managed had I been incarcerated there.
Probably not well.
McCain did not manage his captivity well, either.
So far, I have found two articles that take McCain to task:

and
