In Thursday’s Washington Post, columnist Max Boot provides a call to arms for those who seek to oust the sitting president of the United States. His column claims that the presidency has now been shown to be illegitimate because of this week’s allegations and that Congress should have already acted on impeachment. None of this is surprising, Trump’s has been the photo on Boot’s dartboard for some time now, but in his zesty finale, Boot may have revealed a bit too much.
He writes:
The voters of the United States must now say to this Congress what Oliver Cromwell said to the Rump Parliament in 1653: ‘Ye are a factious crew, and enemies to all good government. … Ye are grown intolerably odious to the whole nation. You were deputed here by the people to get grievances redressed, are yourselves become the greatest grievance. … Go, get you out! Make haste! … In the name of God, go!’

Cromwell died a kidney ailment. It was Charles I who lost his head.

Wrong Cromwell — Thomas Cromwell was beheaded. Oliver died of natural causes, although his body was dug up and posthumously beheaded some time later. That really showed him.
I believe he was referring to the Lord Protector, not Henry VIII’s Privy Councilor.
It’s foolish go back to 1653 for the validation to get rid of Trump when it’s easier to go back to 1953 and use Joseph McCarthy as the validation to get rid of the marxists and communists today.

You are correct, though some sources list the cause of death as malaria, but interestingly enough, Oliver Cromwell (not to be confused with Thomas Cromwell, which I did) was “executed” posthumously with his body being dug up and THEN decapitated. His head was hung in Westminister Abbey.
I’ve got a feeling the same Russians that participated in 2016 will be inviting all their friends to come out in 2018.

As desperate as these dud-muffins are now, just imagine if you can what they will be like on the morning of Wednesday, November 7th this year, after we have swept aside more of the House and Senate enemies of the state.
