I am struck by the fact that there is a “local Communist bookstore” that is open, considered a normal part of the Berkeley scene displaying its wares on a table outside. The same Communism that has killed many 10s of millions of souls, a far larger total than Fascists and Nazis can claim, yet Communists are somehow considered acceptable while Nazis are rightfully are made to lurk in shadows. How can this be?

Actually, that's not as bad as this 16-foot tall statue of Lenin in Seattle, Washington. And as a side note, statues of Robert E. Lee are coming down everywhere. But yet the statue of Bloody Lenin still stands.
