I lost friends too, but I figured life is too short to worry about it too much. I made new friends.
My brother and sister are liberals. The other 4 of us are Trump supporters. There is division in our family. Oh well, they made the choice, not me. 😁

Same here - 7 kids, 4 in Canada and 3 here in the US.
As you can guess, all 3 of us ‘Muricans are huge Trump supporters, and used to make it a point to never talk politics with our family north of the border. Still, we’ve been “ghosted” too. Calls/emails not returned, no more Christmas cards, etc.
Apart from Freepers here, I think everyone in Canada absolutely HATES President Trump.
