Limited egress, lots of people and not much time. Terrible shame but Missouri storms are a bear sometimes. Jackets don’t do any good until you’re clear. Wonder if they had a link to a shore facility to call for help. Lots wrong with this but my prayers to the families and survivors. Rough water calls for rough water boats.

I corrected my self in my last post. the water was warm. When I was there in May the water temp was about 60 degrees. I made an assumption. My Bad, but..The backlash from some people on this site over a simple mistake about water temps in a deep lake is borderline tds you are all like a pack of wild animals to call out and belittle me for a water temp mistake. you all should be ashamed of yourselves for the things you have posted. some of you need a few long rides on the mamby pamby train to get some self esteem!!You all got nothing better to say to a sailor who has had water rescue training? I rode the high seas. I know what I am talking about. sometimes a life vest can get you killed. what if you try to go out a window and you dont fit? Some of you are seriouy chap a$$ed about something. dont take it out on me, you come off as a holes. Its a tragedy these poor people had to die, I was speculating on the how and why. and some one asked how wearing a life vest can be worse than not. and btw its july and lake superior is about 65 degrees. you want to arguue its july and the waters warm you moron.
