The below is quoted from an acquaintance social media post:

I found ________________'s mentioning of domain names a good opportunity for a dissertation...

I thought, well...we could do ourselves a little linked-list styled project here...

Using this board's wonder-twin powers who knows what's possible!

But here we go,

Since stopkavanaugh.com is the lead we start at the address pointer of stopkavanaugh.com

Which points to an IP address of 104.28.6.15

When we look at that IP address we see's that it's from what could be a server farm hosted by Cloudflare Inc. in San Jose, CA.

Now, I know it's just me here.

But this tells me a couple of things. We know the server's hosting the website are paid for and not hosted on a server in places like a Chinese "University", Netherlands, Russia....you'd be surprised.

Anyway, then we gleam through the stopkavanaugh.com front page's [page_code] to simply see what we get.

I do this kinda thing quite often because as a programmer myself, I know a lot of these clowns can't help themselves with their comments which are ignored by any web browser, but it's there as their kinda "inside joke" because it's right before your eyes but you can't see it.

If you look at enough you'll see what I mean.

And I roll through the code myself because I run an ad-blocker and when I do research a lot of times important information won't get displayed.

So, I like to have my cake and eat it too.

Keep the security up at the increase of time and effort.

It tells me a lot during my investigating.

The adblocker is blocking all the references to the site where their privacy policy link comes from so I don't see it displayed in its rendered form, which turns out to be:

And from their donate page we find out this is all being (dis)organized by a "registered charitable organization formed to democratize social welfare giving." titled, ActBlue Civics.

Side Note: They leave the whole taking thing out...

This "ActBlue Civics" is a no-shit legit command and control hub and operates proxies through various servers hosted by various services.

And ActBlue makes no bones about it, it's right on their front page:

I am pretty sure they had a “stopXX.com” website ready for whomever he chose. I tried to key in several of the last names after “stop” and my browser attempted to go to a slightly started/unfinished website each time.
I also attempted to use my own last name which caused a “website not found” message from my ISP.

So - it mattered not who won...they were going to create “stopXX” in any case.
