*Subject:* *Travel pool report #13: POTUS arrives at Turnberry*
After a drive of about 45 minutes from the airport, POTUS arrived at Turnberry at 9:24 p.m. The winding drive gave your pool some breathtaking views of hills, ancient-looking churches and cow pastures, and past hundreds of cheery people who came out from their homes to wave at the motorcade and record with their phones. Your pooler did not see a single protest sign along the drive.
And we have a travel/photo lid.
Thank you to all of the endlessly impressive, intrepid and gracious members of today's WH press pool, who helped get your pooler across the finish line on one wild inaugural duty day.

*Subject:* *Travel pool report #12: Motorcading to Turnberry*
POTUS & FLOTUS disembarked at 8:36 pm. POTUS waved briefly to your pool but did not approach.
In the distance, a large crowd of people appear to be watching from a distance but your pooler cant see if they are supporters, protesters, or just people who want to check out an American president.
POTUS was greeted at the airport by: Right Honorable David Mundell, MP Secretary of State for Scotland, United Kingdom
Your pooler spotted a TRUMP-branded plane on the tarmac when AF1 landed. The presidents son, Eric, who helps oversee operations of the Trump Organization businesses, appears to be in Scotland.

Your pooler did not see a single protest sign along the drive. I'm amazed they saw the "cheery people" since they were looking so hard for these.
