I am watching a Foreign Policy hearing on CSPAN.
Rep.Ted Poe is asking why we cannot put a fee on money that is sent back to Mexico. Mexico alone gets back 138 Billion a year, wants to put a 1% tax on it.
I handed Corey Lewadowski a note at the Trump rally suggesting that, put an excise tax on the money, have Congress approve it.
The guy at the hearing who worked as Ambassador to Haiti under Obama from 2009 till 2012.
His name is Kenneth Merten, he is Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Western Affairs.
Merten says, he thinks it is an interesting thought and could be subject to legislative issue if Congress decided to go that route.
He says other countries are subject to this Haiti being one.
Merten did not want to comment further.
Poe says they should look into it.
When i gave note to Corey, I was thinking 10%, because we pay so much for these illegals.
One of my BIG questions is, WHY IS THIS GUY WORKING IN THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION?
I do not trust any one them.
They are just now "thinking about it"? Really? It has been suggested for YEARS by "normal" Americans, but they are just now thinking about it? This is the first time he has heard it mentioned?
