Pres Trump today grants full pardons to Dwight and Steven Hammond, cattle ranchers imprisoned in connection with a fire on public land stemming from dispute over grazing rights. Govt appealed original lighter sentence demanding 5-year mandatory. WH calls that unjust.

Pardons for Dwight and Steven Hammond, bring to 7 the number of pardons granted to date by Pres. Trump. Has also granted 2 commutations of sentence as well.

@VP and Judge Kavanaugh arrive at the Capitol and climb the steps for talks with US Senators starting with @SenateMajLdr.

.@SenateMajLdr welcomes SCOTUS nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh into his Capitol Office. Accompanied by @VP and former Sen Jon Kyl, R-AZ, named WH sherpa for Kavanaugh's confirmation. McConnell calls nomination "outstanding" and looks forward to confirmation process.

Well, not completely. It’s 85 and I am sweating profusely. I sure hope moving humidity is really good for my skin as they say. There’s got to be something to get out of this :-) and it’s not even hot! Certainly not compared to Bakersfield weather. But my body thinks it is.
