WATCH: Trump Shakes Literally Every Naval Academy Graduate’s Hand

President Donald Trump gave a speech to the graduates of the Naval Academy Friday morning. Then, the president went a step further, offering to shake the hands of every single graduate — more than 1,000 midshipmen.

“I was given an option. I could make this commencement address, which is a great honor for me, and immediately leave and wave goodbye. Or I could stay and shake hands with just the top 100,” Trump said, “Or I could stay for hours and shake hands with 1,100 and something. What should I do? What should I do?”

Trump then shouted, “Stay! Ok, I’ll stay.”

C-SPAN cameras stayed on the president as he shook the hands of hundreds of cadets. The looks on their faces say it all.

In the speech, Trump referenced that his administration is “taking care of our veterans.”

“We passed V.A. Accountability. Everybody said it couldn’t be done,” Trump said, “That’s if you don’t do a good job, you couldn’t get fired. Now, if you don’t do a good job, you don’t take care of our vets, they look at you right in the eye and they say, ‘Jim, you’re fired. Out, out! You’re fired. Get them out of there.'”

The audience of future veterans loved it.

I know it was covered yesterday but it's worth repeating I love this line: "The looks on their faces say it all. " Thanks PDJT! Kinda like him bolting from security to shake hands with the LEOs the other day.

Not many Presidents would willingly do that. It requires slowing down time and living fully in that present moment.
With all the worldly topics on his mind, it’s great that the president can keep it in perspective.

The Progressive ideologues and their social media followers must be just shaking their heads, because their brains have been programmed for conformity, not engagement and interaction.

Just as they thought citizens were adequately indoctrinated by the various "movements" within their propagandized "identity groups," along comes Trump and upsets the apple cart, so to speak, with his think-what-you-want, and says-what-you-want reflection of the philosophy of freedom intended by the Framers of America's Constitution!

How shocking to their totalitarian, group-think, propagandized minions who were taught to do the elites' bidding! How shocking it must have been to them that enough Americans are left with the idea of freedom in their hearts to elect such a brash and bold citizen from among themselves as their national and international leader!

What fun it is to see Pelosi struggle with words to describe the scene from her perch in Congress, as she can't react to one of the President's actions fast enough to be ahead of the next one!

The love and affection our President has for our military never stops to warm my heart.

Compared to the contempt Obozzo, Bush and Clinton had for these young men and its night and day in comparison

Not everything is politics, and this is especially true with President Trump. As a former Boat School grad from decades ago, it truly warms my heart that he went so far above and beyond; in my time, we had a long-since-forgotten someone-or-other speak at graduation. These men and women of 2018 will not forget theirs. And, just to inject a little politics, here’s hoping Trump’s tribute will stick in the craw of john mccain, another forgettable speaker at graduation, who didn’t think of this wonderful gesture even though having himself graduated from Canoe U.

Think how it’s going to feel 30 years from now when your college graduation picture shows you shaking hands with one of the greatest Presidents in US History...

The only people who love McCain at this point are far-left loons. The farther left, the more the love. What a legacy.

And to think that McMoron says he doesn’t want this guy at his funeral.

A thousand of anything is hard to do. If anybody has any concept of how hard this is they would see the gesture as remarkable and recognition of remarkable achievement.

Get out of here. You may not like Bush, but he certainly did not hold our troops in contempt. You’re right about obozzo and clinton.
