Florida city warns residents of power outage, zombies

Residents of a Florida city who received alerts about a power outage were also warned to look out for zombies. That's right — zombies.

The Palm Beach Post reports that Lake Worth residents received the message during a power outage Sunday.

The alert warned that more than 7,000 customers lost power "due to extreme zombie activity."

They are trying to walk back the fact that a group of about 25 zombies were found fried to a crisp at a large roadside transformer station, knocking it and themselves out.

The nice old man thats loved by the whole town mysteriuosly disappears, his little dog left barking sorrowfully next to the gas pumps at his store.

The power went out here in my neighborhood yesterday around 10 AM. I was already outside working and my fan went off.

Not 5 minutes later, the neighbors started wandering about outside....I laughed my ass off thinking of them as zombies
