As Trump Seeks Way Out of Syria, New Attack Pulls Him Back In
NY Times ^ | APRIL 8, 2018 | BEN HUBBARD and JULIE HIRSCHFELD DAVIS

Days after President Trump said he wanted to pull the United States out of Syria, Syrian forces hit a suburb of Damascus with bombs that rescue workers said unleashed toxic gas.

Within hours, images of dead families sprawled in their homes threatened to change Mr. Trump’s calculus on Syria, possibly drawing him deeper into an intractable Middle Eastern war that he hoped to leave.

“Many dead, including women and children, in mindless CHEMICAL attack in Syria,” Mr. Trump wrote on Twitter on Sunday. He blamed Iran and Russia — even singling out President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia by name — for their support of the Syrian government.

Whatever.
You agree with my point that nothing too bad happened last time.

Good luck to you son.
You need the luck in life not me. :)

Why is it America’s responsibility to fight their wars? There has never been peace in the area and won’t be ever. The reason: It’s a war of religions and that will never end. Time has proven that.

angry tweets from Evan McMuffin and Ho Chi McCain

Who just happen to both be oddly supportive of the islamist agitprop figure (and occasional congressional employee) Mouaz Moustafa, while continuing to denigrate Donald Trump. "Who would'a thunk it?"

Since Paul Ryan apparently also knows ol' Mouaz, I suppose he would tweet angrily if the other two sh*tbirds hadn't done so already.

why would Assad do this when he was winning, is a question being asked.

The answer lies back around April 1, when Russia reportedly offered a deal to Jaish to leave Douma, but Jaish was reported April 1, to have refused. Assad authorizes a chemical attack and, voila’, a broken Jaish now accepts. Assad considers it another win and he didn’t lose a single man doing it. We’ve heard Trump talk about how other countries kill terrorists and their entire families - well, this is that reality played out before our eyes. 86 chemical attacks and counting.

There are too many generations of Syrians on both sides that have had a steady diet of American Hatred their entire life. Our eagerness to prove the side we want to win, has made us blind to who they are, who they hate and who they will never trust. But since Syria has become too dangerous for women and children, lets take their young men as refugees and give them all the benefits so they can gear up and plan for a civil war in their new land with new enemies, and old ones. I saw footage yesterday of little boys getting washed down and treated by men. I’m not sure if it was staged or not. Muslims still adhere to modesty traditions where the washing of females for any reason, might not be the kind of thing they put on display or want filmed. Obama’s restroom polices were not embraced World-wide.

The NYSlimes title is wrong. Trump was already reconsidering his desire to leave Syria right away, before this attack occurred.

I do not agree. Trump’a base is going to stick with him regardless of what he decides to do in Syria. Putin is not running his foreign policy in order to manipulate small numbers of American conservatives. We are not that important.

I have to laugh at the people on here who every week announce they are abandoning Trump. You would think he would have no support by now.

“But we are supposed to believe Assad gassed this group and then 2 days later put them on luxury busses to northern Syria”

The Deep State actors here and elsewhere laugh at how gullible many of us are in believing that Assad would do this. It makes absolutely no sense for him to use CBW in a war he is winning against “our” AQ rebels and the White Helmet islamists.

Did China diplomatically request i.e. ORDER, the US out of Syria’s battle?

I’ll take this opportunity to go on the record, clearly.

I do not believe Syrian or Russian forces, or anyone under their control, perpetrated this attack. They had nothing to gain, and everything to lose.

I believe it was one of our “allies” (al qaeda), one of the jihadi rebel groups. And even possibly Turkish intelligence.

“Putin sanctioned the gas attack so dupes in the West will turn to conspiracy theories against their leaders while his supporters in Russia and boot lickers elsewhere rally around him.”

Stupid.

And, paranoid.

And the thinking of the Neocons who are universally hated.

Universally.

To them everything is a Putinista conspiracy. That is their mindset. It allows them to bring out the “Comrade Putin” bludgeon.

But they are not smart enough to know that sh!t doesn’t work anymore.

No matter who launched this chemical attack, we should not leave the part of Syria we are in. Keep the 2000 troops there to protect the gains we have made in eastern Syria and not allow ISIS to re-group. How many times do we have to see this to know that 2000 troops as a check on Turkey and Isis is the smart play?

The troops can be a force protection as well as get rid of the mines that are in that area. I’m sure we can get countries that don’t want us to leave (like Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, etc..) to foot the bill for re-building the part of Syria that the Kurds control and we are protecting.

Let Putin and Iran re-build the rest of Syria. No one’s going to help them as long as Assad is in power. They can have their national accounts drained much like we did in Iraq. We’ll stand by and watch their money be drained and a counter insurgency of crazies harass their military like happened to us. The only difference being is that they can’t afford to do this militarily as well as monetarily.

NYT, WP, McCain all want us to be involved in Syria for one reason only...
To fracture Trump support and sweep 2020 for the RATS.
Of course McCain will be dead but his wife will run for his seat and take it, flip to RAT and we loose AZ.

Meanwhile the GOP-e has no idea what is going on.

If President Trump wants to pull troops out of the Middle East, these 2000 troops in Syria are not the ones we should be pulling out. We should be pulling the troops out of Incirlik AB in Turkey and close the base down. Turkey is moving towards Russia and are home to Muzzie extremists. They are no friend of ours and should be kicked out of NATO. Besides, these airplanes can’t be used for any operations in the Middle East, Turkey won’t allow it.

Your propaganda and fake news trolling are crude and transparent. Just wanted to let you know that nobody is buying it. You’re probably posting from a troll farm in Tel Aviv. The Israelis post more fake news on social media than any other country in the world.

We’re not going to war with Russia or Syria. If the Israelis are that determined to overthrow the Assad regime, they can do it themselves and leave us out of it. Israel wouldn’t even have to be worried about Russia or Iran setting up camp in Syria if they hadn’t backed ISIS and helped destabilize Syria in the first place.

Hopefully President Trump doesn’t fall into this obvious trap and brings our troops home. This is not our war.
