On the April 5 Fox show The Five, the crew was discussing the movie Chappaquiddick and how some "powerful people on the left" tried to block the movie.
It is telling that some still want to block a movie about how Kennedy left Mary Jo Kopechne to die inside the submerged car that he drove off the bridge in 1969. Kennedy is dead, so why hide the truth at this late stage?
Williams said he didn't know the "story" of Chappaquiddick. You would expect that someone whose job is a paid political commentator would know the story. Kennedy would have been the Democratic nominee for president but for Chappaquiddick. Kennedy was lauded by the Dems and the media as the Lion of the Senate.

When Ted Kennedy ran for President against Carter in 1980 Chappaquiddick was all over the news. Williams had to at least heard the name associated with Ted.
If Juan quit saying dumb things, he’d be out of a job. That’s what Fox pays him to do. He’s a foil.

He always gets that stupid, quizzical look on his face whenever someone makes a statement of fact. I truly believe that ignoramous knows nothing about the events that killed Mary Jo K.
The one good thing Ted did in his pathetic life was to help poison Carter's re-election chances.
You have to remember, they live in an ‘echo chamber’.
They do not have any knowledge that is outside that ‘echo chamber’.
If the news is bad for Dems, it is not repeated, discussed or mentioned, or is blatantly blamed on the Republicans ........................
For the life of me I don’t know why Juan (the Token) Williams has any role at Fox. He absolutely destroys any conversation he is part of.
As far as the Five goes, it should be called the Four-and-A-Quarter, and that’s giving the other 4 far too much credit.
