The following are the insights and opinions of a former senior congressional staffer who is now enjoying what he calls the
happy uncertainty of a self-imposed semi-retirement. He spent nearly eleven years working on Capitol Hill, arriving there shortly before Barack Obama became president, and then leaving shortly after Donald Trump succeeded him. His extended familys ties to prior administrations go back decades at the highest levels. Now approaching middle-age, (ancient by D.C. staffer standards) and despite all that time in the belly of the D.C. beast he still manages to look younger than his years. Hes quick to laugh, slow to anger, and enjoys the occasional (and most often inappropriate) joke while also being an occasional (and always highly valued) D.C. Whispers source. His contact list is an impressive whos-who of D.C. power players (a benefit of his political pedigree of which he readily admits he had nothing to do with) including both active and retired politicians, staffers, and (too many) lobbyists. (He feels most lobbyists are decent people working in what he calls an epically f*cked up system.) He has attended two inauguration balls, four Congressional retreats, (to which he says members of Congress drink a lot) and seven State of the Union addresses.

17 minutes late....
How about a summary or excerpt of what’s so ‘alarming’?
Obama stole 2012 from Romney?
If this guy is such a heavyweight, how come he is confusing Carter Page with Christoper Steele? [About halfway through]
The editing on some of these web articles is atrocious.
I don't consider that alarming. What is concerning is that people know this and do nothing.
Yes...if they DIDN’T cheat...then that would be news!

It’s not that long. I’m sure you could get through it in a couple of minutes.
Thought the same thing. Seemed weird that he would indicate that the FBI took Page at his word when he meant Steele.
No one was more surprised at the 2012 outcome than Barack Obama ( or whatever his real name is ) himself.
Yep, Carter Page should be Christopher Steele in this entire paragraph. I stopped reading at this point.
Yup
It is possible that it is the author making the mistake and not the article’s subject. Still, it really detracts from the narrative And, since no one is actually named, the whole thing smacks of fake news to me.
Just reading that little snippet convinced me that every one of these people is so brimming to the top with hubris that they should be taken out and shot.
Figuratively speaking, of course.
Something tells me, before the congressional elections, the ability and carefree nature of stealing elections is going to be “fixed”.
Make more popcorn, make more rope...
Obama stole the 2012 election, which we all knew.
Definitely not out of the question. Without citing a specific source, that HUGE mistake calls the document into question. One of those “want it to be true” instead of “verifiably true”.
This ‘confession’ doesn’t make sense. Allegedly there was cheating in a district for Obama and presumably for the dem congressional district. Yet, the cheating is described as having pissed off the dem who benefitted, WTH?
Reads like a cheap propaganda piece.
