For what it’s worth, whenever the GOP has traditionally talked like this, it never quite panned out.
Cognitive biases are a real thing, and are rampant today. Confirmation bias is why people only choose news channels with political opinions they agree with. At this point it looks certain that a lot if the truth will come out, but only a small fraction will instantly see the new information and adjust their beliefs. Most will suffer from cognitive dissonance and try to retain their old beliefs while compartmentalizing the new information.
Its actually a good thing things are happening slowly because we can use the time productively to prepare those around us. Biases are hard to grt rid of, especially in groups where beliefs are reinforced. Look at how thoroughly Japan had to be destroyed for them to question the emperor's divinity.
Trump would have five days to block release of the memo. If he stays silent for five days, Nunes is free to release the memo.
Yep - want to have folks in a mindset that will allow them to digest it w/o going nuts and doing stupid things.
Much sizzle, no steak.
Oh spare me. The only delusion we need worry over at this point is being derailed by corn pone sagacity masquerading as insight.
Love is the purview of people, not governance.
I believe compromise with those committed to your destruction only aids them and injures you.
Define terms like prideful conduct and perhaps some sense might be made of your post.
We wil never be surprised if we never see it....*ahem*
P.S.
When Prideful Conduct has a taxpayer funded expenditure associated with it like faux Love does, we can talk.
Re: “Deeply Disturbing” FISA Memo
I really doubt it.
Hundreds of people have read it, but, as far as I know, not one word of it has been leaked.
When the Main Stream Media are completely silent, for an extended period of time, about an issue that is favorable to Conservatives, it often indicates the MSM are baiting Conservatives with a political nothing burger.
Nope!
18 U.S. Code § 798 - Disclosure of classified information has an exception for congressional committees (Senate, HoR, or combined), but nothing WRT normal law-enforcement.
It's actually kind of brilliant — make it so that you have to use the possible corrupted chain of command
in order to report violations and now you only have to corrupt the higher elements of the chain to allow the Classification-system to protect illegal activities. Much like the use of Nondisclosure Agreements, as mentioned in this talk… where the threat of the machine
is just incredibly great.
“It will be and that it why they are bringing pieces out everyday to prep people.”
What little pieces have been brought out so far?
...... This whole thing better be more substance than just the usual hype.
It's possible that the planning and preparation began before we learned of The Memo.
Well actually that can blow money and lives too.
And the name of that program would be.....?
“P.S.” That’s called suboptimization.
We could fund a hobbling police state, or something that results in a financial crash. For example. Because of a keyhole view.
Why have you reduced the worth of everything to today’s budget?
That is the very “kick the can down the road” mentality. You argue for a full embrace of folly as long as we don’t see immediate consequences.
For a guy expounding on pride, you sure seem inclined to save face by quibbling.
That’s your interpretation and frankly it sounds like projection.
Paper tiger, straw man. It’s all B.S.
You seem to be rather concentrated on the superficial yourself. You stated that as a criterion. Don’t blame me for pointing out the absurd places that leads. Authoritarian bluster on your part is just that.
Have a nice senseless day of your own demonstrated choice.
