In my experience, it is always the contrarian naysayers who start the insults. Eventually they succeed in provoking some true believers to respond in kind—given that seems to be the only language the contrarians understand.
We each choose the world we want to live in. That is, we relate to the world based on how we perceive it.
Utopian fantasies always capture the hearts of two groups. The first group is those who do not believe themselves capable of personal strength. The second group is those who seek to dominate others. They are the sheep and the wolves.
The sheep will trust the wolves down to their last member; always thankful their neighbor was eaten; always believing their fawning obedience prevents their death.
