I’m watching FNC and they keep playing Chuckie #SchumerShutdown.
Yuck, his voice and the way he talks as if we are little children is nauseating.
It’s 1:30 am here. I’m hoping sleep will happen soon.
I know how that is, wake up during the night and brain won’t switch off.
I actually went to bed before the vote, was falling asleep at the putter but staying asleep has been a problem for me for awhile.
Watching the whole Senate thing tonight reinforced just how fake, old and out of touch they are. They are some kind of Zombie actors. They are creepy really.
People have given me the advice of laying off politics, did for about 6 months, didn’t change my sleep pattern and I missed my Trump Family so much, so here I am.
Hope you can go back to sleep soon too.
We’ll, I have to take steroids along with my other myriad drugs, so sleep is kind of a luxury I rarely get to afford. Hope you find yourself in Dreamland soon.

Look 👀: It’s worth noting that senators of both parties broke ranks with their respective caucuses on the bill. Five Democrats sided with the majority of Republicans to vote for the bill: Sens. Heidi Heitkamp (ND), Doug Jones (AL), Claire McCaskill (MO), Joe Manchin (WV), and Joe Donnelly (IN). Meanwhile, four Republicans broke ranks to cast “no” votes: Sens. Lindsey Graham (SC), Rand Paul (KY), Mike Lee (UT), and Jeff Flake (AZ).

Glad I missed it last night as it would have added to my not being able to sleep but did get up early enough to watch the whole thing on Shannon’s rerun show.

And about the “Where is a the Jocularity in the Senate tonight?” thread. I must commend you on keeping your temper when that guy told you not to get so excited, I’m afraid I would have had a few choice words for him.
