We get about 130 inches/year. We live on a road that is part seasonal and have only missed work once because of snow in 4 years. Seasonal roads are pretty infrequent.

We got 18 inches overnight one time. The snow here is really nothing compared to what the east gets. Besides which it is powder and we use a broom to clean off the cars. Or your hands.

It's the subzero temps - about 6-7 days/winter of them, that are seriously daunting. I still remember my car starting at -42 one morning. Don't like those much when they happen. Haven't seen it that cold for several years.

Thanks for coming to visit us! We moved here 4 years ago and have no regrets. We are madly in love with the people, lakes, and food here.
