Yes, somewhat. His picks in Ohio are pleasingly unconventional. Conservative but not run through the liberal American Bar Association, but due regard to Federalist Society. He is not trying to pick sitting judges necessarily but lawyers which are harder to dig dirt on. In a perfect world he could run his prospects through litmus tests, say on 2nd amendment, willingness to review Roe v Wade, ending anchor baby citizenship. But you know the Dems would grill them on whether they were asked any such thing (and the NSA transcripts would be sitting there to rebut if needed). The Senate says they have confirmed a record #, but they are at a snail’s pace. One whole year and they’ve only confirmed 12? We get no news on US Attorneys confirmed or not. How many vacancies?. I’d like to know if White House is selecting nominees or Justice Dept (historic baillywick - but now they are anti-trump and deep state). But if it is WH, is it Chief of Staff 3 star? (who is not always prone to pick pro-Trump agenda people). Main problem is no news, at least reliable news. I better dig into this.
Tomorrow night: Roll Tide, Roll!
