I love a rational woman with a sense of purpose. Sarah Palin and Ann Coulter are just fine by me.
Brooks it seems, has cancer. May not make it to 2020.
“Every Republican running for office from here on out will be accused of sexual impropriety. The GOP should have stood its ground with Moore.”
It’s true all Republicans will be accused of sexual impropriety from now on.
But you would have to look far a wide to find an anachronism as loathsome as Roy Moore. I believe 1/2 the Republicans that didn’t bother to turn out didn’t believe the charges against him.
But they do remember how he twice violated his oath of office as the Chief Judge by failing to carry out superior court orders. And they also remember his zealous ignorance expressed on Blacks and homos.
The man was not fit for Federal Office long before he was accused of being a pedophile. Then his defense was “I didn’t take out any girl with her mom’s permission”. And, “I dated lots of young women when I was single”.
He was a dangerous idiot.
But he would have been a Republican vote in the Senate.
In the end, that was not enough for the people of Alabama. And I don’t blame them.
Utterly wrong. UniParty hit job. McConnell and Soros.
When are people like you going to learn why the acronym RINO exists?
They hate Trump, Brooks, and Moore because they oppose the UniParty.
That is ALL that this was about; everything else was pretext.
Tough to beat an incumbent.
Moore fought for the Constitution. Hes a man who knows how to hold his ground. Its a lot more than we have in Congress right now.
Like I said you can’t name one nationalist protectionist America first Senator. Not one believes in the Trump agenda. Not one.
Brooks was the better candidate indeed, but the swamp loved corruptocrat strange instead. Moore was second best.
Shelby is 83; Brooks would make a good candidate.
Ain't gonna happen. Doug Jones will be re-elected and serve as long as he pleases.
This sort of thing has happened before. Ultra-liberals such as George McGovern, Quentin Burdick and Birch Bayh each spent decades representing "red" states in the Senate, and Doug Jones will follow in that tradition. Mo Brooks, recently diagnosed with cancer, might not even run.
Mo Brooks is great. Kudos to Ann for seeing it and saying it. That said, it was a disaster to get a liberal Democrat Senator from Alabama. Fiasco.
