Alimony is theft and should be banned.

How much is it?

If you lost SALT and got a $24,000 standard deduction, how would the math work out for you?

My alimony is $2,300 per month. Every month, or go to jail.

SALT runs $10-$12k

If I lose SALT AND alimony deduction, I’m soooo screwed.

And considering that ALL Spousal Support of any kind is viewed the same by the IRS, I am not the only one in this great nation that is totally, and completely...er...screwed.

“Jack the standard deduction up to $24,000 per individual.”

With mortgage interest, SALT and alimony I deducted over $45,000 last year when I itemized.

Some say I’m a very lucky man.

Others ask why I don’t just quit working and grow dope for cash.

And I’m honestly torn.
