Read my other posts on this issue. As far as the fees go, there isn’t that much corruption in the conservation movement. It isn’t like these people want to kill the goose that lays golden eggs. Not being corrupt is entirely in their self interest. Everything else in Africa is corrupt as hell. Conservation is way at the bottom of the scale.

I read your other posts, I just don't believe that a) conservation in Africa doesn't have "that much" corruption and that b) the ideal economic incentive approach to conservation works in Africa.

If you wanna' help protect lions then train, equip, and directly fund the anti-poacher patrols rather than filtering all aid through a corrupt system. After a few tourist hunters are shot and killed, the pool of potential hunters will be greatly reduced. In fact, with increased risk, in areas where it's difficult to escape with your trophy the pool of potential hunters will fall to zero.
