Mattel Announces Ibtihaj Muhammad doll, the First Barbie to Wear a Hijab

Olympic fencer Ibtihaj Muhammad is quite a doll – literally. She’s thrilled to have inspired a Barbie in her likeness, and especially proud that the doll will be the first Barbie to wear a hijab.

“This is a childhood dream come true,” she posted.

The doll is part of the “She-ro” line.

“We are so excited to honor Ibtihaj Muhammad with a one-of-a-kind Barbie doll!” Mattel posted. “Ibtihaj continues to inspire women and girls everywhere to break boundaries.”

This is just a sneaky way for mattel to sell a muzzy doll. This is the start. The next one will come soon. Then the ken muzzy doll, with a machete and a detachable bomb vest.

Yes. Under Sharia you can play with a doll up until puberty. As far as I can tell puberty is subjective under Sharia.

Aisha the 9 year old wife of Muhammad whom was 53 years old was playing with her doll when Muhammad came into the room and asked to put the doll away. The mother was asked to leave her daughters room.

She wasn't allowed to play with the doll again.
