Im changing my prediction. This is going to be super close but I think Amnesty Ed will pull it out in the end. Why:
-Amnesty Ed has run a competent campaign. This is almost unheard of for a Virginia gop gubernatorial candidate. But he has done a surprisingly good job. No stupid mistakes so far.
-The ad. It did p### off some folks that otherwise stay home.
- Northam isnt rallying the rat base.
-Corey Stewart has been actively campaigning for him and DJT has endorsed. Politics makes strange bedfellows.
-Down ticket candidates are pretty good and may have a small coattail effect.
If RINO Ed Gellispe GOPe is rallying the Republican base then we are in deep do do.
As someone who spends most of his time, your comments are spot-on.
Ed isn’t Mr. Charisma, but he knows how to run a very disciplined campaign. Did the same thing in the 2014 Senate race. Everyone wrote him off; Gillespie kept working and came within a cat’s whisker of beating Mark Warner. Meanwhile, Northam has run a terrible race; he’s willing to work with Trump or anti-Trump, depending on which ad you watch. His minions airbrushed the African-American candidate from a brochure to appease the pro-union crowd. And the pick-up truck ad was the icing on the cake.
I knew Northam was in trouble when he imported Barry Zero to campaign for him in Richmond. If you need that kind of support in a blue city late in a race, you’re in trouble. And Ralph is.
