The fun has begun!
Tonight's dinner is BBQ ribs & chicken, potato salad and cole slaw. There will dart games, Scrabble and lots of BS'ing and laughter.
Tomorrow the shooting starts at 10:00 at Hicksville Range in Gatesville. Eaker's ashes will be blown into the Heavens at 11:00. If things follow the same pattern as every other shoot, we'll eat lunch around 1:00.
Looking forward to seeing all that show up, will miss those can't make it.

Oh, I’m not home yet. The thought of an 8-hour drive after little sleep all weekend was a bit daunting, so I stopped in at laurenmarlow’s place to crash. I’ll go the rest of the way tomorrow! I sure hope he can sort out the gun’s issues!

The only way I’ll get to go anywhere is if we get rid of the cats and that ain’t a-gonna happen. All I can do is dream about it and read about all the fun y’all have each year. :-)
Well, I have driven just about that far to see the kids in OKC, but she had said I could hang out here...she’s gone on a job. So....I just thought, why not, and did it! No point in getting home beyond tired, when I have lots of time. Right? :)
Can’t tell her how much appreciate her hospitality, even when she’s not here. Promise, I didn’t make a mess. :)
Well, those kittehs are special, so we’ll just post lots of pictures and videos so you can be with us in that way.
I don’t know how mine have been since I left. They may be furious with me or hubby might have been way better to them than I am. LOL!
They have their moments they aren’t so special - like when the moon’s full. LOL - but we love ‘em any way.
