The best bet for ICE is to concentrate on busting those illegals who work for the wealthy and powerful in California, then work with the IRS to slap them with hefty bills for tax evasion.
In any event, ICE could make the illegals a deal. Tell them how long they had worked for the rich and famous, and as part of the deal with the IRS, they would get some of the penalty money for reporting them. And yes, they would still be deported, but at least they would have some cash in hand.
The best part is that the same illegals have often worked for several different people, so could get all of them at once.
ICE might even allow the illegals to stay in the US, if they can take down some of the top people in the California government, political parties, or wealthy leftists.

There are OVER 1 Million Illegal ALiens in Los Angeles alone, there are 100,000 Illegal Aliens within a 5 mile radius of me in a town with 12,000 Registered Voters.

working there taught me that if someone is in the country illegally it suppresses the wages of where ever they work and those people hiring the illegal and paying them less usually are patting themselves on the back for doing it and think they are being charitable.

That’s why if politicians really cared about the minimum wage, they’d enforce immigration laws instead of messing with the an artificial minimum.
