Law enforcement authorities did release the name and photo of a woman they have located and are questioning as a “person of interest.” Marilou Danley, a 4-foot-11 Asian woman, was believed to have been a “companion” of the shooter — perhaps, even, a roommate.
Danley’s Facebook page is filled with photos of her family members and with shots of her many overseas trips. In it, she calls herself a “Proud mom and grandma who lives life to the fullest.”

You know, on somewhat of a similar topic, I am also mystified by a mother who self-identifies as, “son or daughter’s name, mom”.
There was a talk show host that used to love to sign off her show not with her own name, but simple as “Jennie’s mom”. (Jennie not being the actual name)
I wouldn’t expect her to sign of saying, “Bill’s wife...”
She wouldn’t want to. It would make her somewhat of an appendage of Bill. Here though, she didn’t mind being an appendage of her child.
Either way is somewhat of an avoidance of being just yourself, having your own individuality.
Sure you love your kids, but some folks get so wrapped up in it they lose themselves.
I have no clue, but of all newspapers, the Washington Times is generally one of the most credible.

Only reason I posted this is respect for Washington Times and the parts that seem to fit with other reports on her.
ISIS claimed the shooting, if she is out of country this adds to speculation.
The actually assault appears to be very well planned. I cannot yet buy that this had a single perp.
His brother evidently cannot either.
Is it possible he is a patsy, was killed to cover the actual shooter? (I know that is wild and the hotel should have video of coming and going to room)

That is true. In some instances I think there may be sort of a notification factor, letting folks know they are spoken for. I don’t necessarily view pseudonyms the same as I do the way people in public introduce themselves.

Is she dense enough she doesn’t think others see it that way too? She thinks it has to be said.
If someone didn’t think along those lines, did she actually think they’d be tuning in to her show?
