Perhaps. But to have an arrest records over this matter?
Perhaps if she kept her cool and didn’t resort to screaming and being dragged - perhaps she and the victim would have been better served.
She did keep her cool up to the point that the cop grabed her. This arrest is going to get tossed. She’ll have no arrest record. She held her ground. We need more like her.
> Perhaps if she kept her cool and didnt resort to screaming and being dragged... <
That’s actually a fair comment. I don’t agree with it, but it’s a fair comment.
One thing to consider, however, is the nature of the situation. The nurse and the cop were having a calm conversation. No heated words, no raising of voices. No hint of a confrontation. Then all of a sudden the cop exploded and grabbed the nurse.
I gotta tell you, if I’m having a calm conversation with a cop, and then all of a sudden he grabs me, I’m going to react in a primal way. I think anybody would.
Now, if the cop had said from the beginning, “I’m here to arrest you”...well, that’s different. I would expect to be cuffed. I wouldn’t struggle.
You don't seem to understand that the nurse would have been held responsible for all of this if she had followed Office Jackboot's illegal order.
Perhaps if Office Jackboot had kept his cool and not been so determined to violate both the law and rights of his fellow officer this could have been avoided.
Maybe, if you’re admitted to a hospital while unconscious, and they remove your gonads because you don’t need them...you’ll be just as understanding.
The nurse lost her cool only after the cop grabbed at her to arrest her.
In my opinion, the woman was in a no-win situation. If she had complied with the cop’s request, she could have been fired for violating hospital policy, been subject to a lawsuit, even potentially lost her license to practice. If she didn’t comply, she was getting arrested.
She was very calm and professional up until the point the cop put his hands on her to arrest her, and that’s when she lost it.
Also, consider this: the cop wasn’t telling her to stand aside or get out of his way so he, as an agent of the state, could do something. He was attempting to force her to do something. He was trying to compel her to draw blood from an unconscious patient.
People like absolutely frighten me. Your willingness to give up your freedoms and rights at the sight of a badge is astounding.
Keep digging, you are entertaining.
Entirely wrong, but entertaining.
That is a false statement. The nurse was calm and respectful right up until the point of arrest.
Shame on you defending this thuggery.
“Perhaps if she kept her cool and didnt resort to screaming and being dragged - perhaps she and the victim would have been better served.”
My God, you are becoming a bigger idiot by the minute.
