President Trump has floated the possibility of replacing Attorney General Jeff Sessions with his steadfast ally Rudy Giuliani to serve in the top Justice Department post, Axios reported Monday.
Trump broached the idea in internal discussions about bringing in and surrounding himself with staunch supporters, sources within the West Wing told the news outlet.
Before The New York Times interview last week, Trump had already expressed anger and frustration at Sessions for recusing himself from the Russia investigation, Axios reports.
Trump, during the interview, opined that Sessions' decision to recuse himself was "unfair" to him and he would've likely picked another person to lead the Justice Department if he had known this is the move Sessions would make.
In a tweet on Monday, Trump went after Sessions, calling him “beleaguered” and questioned why the attorney general and federal investigators are not looking into Hillary Clinton for her “crimes” and ties to Russia.

It is true that none of us know for sure what God’s Will is. He tells us His thoughts and words are not our thoughts and words.
I base my “guess” that DJT is God’s anointed from the millions of Christians who bowed their heads, and on their knees, prayed for deliverance from HRC and the evil that infests our society. We humbled ourselves in prayer. And God answered us with a miracle, against all human odds. That tells me He is correct when He says that things that are impossible with Man are possible with God.
I think also of J. Falwell, Jr, and of so many Christian men and women of faith that prayed over him, that spoke of DJT’s sincerity, etc., and am comforted knowing of their support for DJT.
Yes, time will tell. My guess is God knows DJT’s personality and uses it toward His Will. Goodness knows none of us are perfect. Even King David had his weakness. But God uses imperfect men to perfect His Will. I’m glad and grateful for that.
We are in agreement that we must continue to pray that God really will heal our nation.

Trump could insert a replacement during the August recess. They could serve until the end of 2018 unless confirmed by then. There’s a whole lot of recess appointments that should be made next month. Lots!
Giuliani was a strong defender of illegal immigrants' rights as mayor, fighting for them to be allowed to use public services and attend public schools.
As Mayor of New York City, Giuliani encouraged hardworking illegal immigrants to move to New York City.[93] He said:

If you come here and you work hard and you happen to be in an undocumented status, you're one of the people who we want in this city. He pressed for $12 million to start a city agency which would help immigrants gain citizenship. He defended the city's policy of not allowing police and hospital workers to ask about citizenship status.
In 1996 Giuliani voiced his support for New York City's sanctuary city policy saying:
"[it] protects undocumented immigrants in New York City from being reported to the INS while they are using city services that are critical for their health and safety, and for the health and safety of the entire city...There are times when undocumented immigrants must have a substantial degree of protection".[

The first thing Rudy, or whoever is the next AG, should do it bear down on Hilary foundation. Trump son may have talked with a Russian but he never got millions selling rights to Uranium. Clinton should be doing hard time for a long time for that.

But Sessions was giving marching orders on immigration and that’s what he’s done.
Does it concern you at all that as this witch hunt is going on that Trump is getting more agitated and instead of simply powering through it and working on stuff he’s yet to deliver (like the wall), he starts a circular firing squad with the biggest conservative he has in his cabinet?

This move would amount to replacing one of the few AG's we've had in recent memory who was concerned with enforcing our immigration laws with a New York version of Jeb Bush.
Trump saved America from government over-regulation and an immigration invasion by Muslims and 3rd worlders. These plans to destroy America will go back into action as soon as Trump is gone.
Obama’s YEARLY adding of 97,000 pages of government regulations per year against the United States was clear dagger aimed by this socialist Obama , a dagger aimed at the heart of business,America, and lady liberty.
Obama was adding 97,000 pages of government relations per year. Hillary would have continued that. Another corrupt politician will not stop it. Trump stopped that and has cut government regulations tremendously. Just these 2 actions have saved America. We have freedom, rights to own property , right to start a business, Right to have assets or money as long as Trump is president , not much longer after that.

I feel the same way. Sessions was in Trump’s camp from the very first, even when people did not give him a chance. Trump screws Alabama out of our best Senator and then cans him will not go over well here. It very well will cost him votes in Alabama. We don’t forget.
I agree, Sessions was one of the best that we had in the Senate, and I don't understand why so many people on FR are so willing to throw the man under the bus just because Trump isn't happy with him.
But what I simply can't fathom is why anyone here would like to see Sessions (whatever his flaws) replaced with an across the board liberal like Giuliani. Trump got where he is to a large part because he promised to enforce America's immigration laws. Sessions helped deliver that promise. Pro-Amnesty Giuliani will not.
