On Wednesday Republican Representative Steve Scalise, the House Majority Whip, and two Capitol Police were shot during baseball practice in Alexandria.
Scalise was shot in the hip and tried to drag himself off the field after he was hit.
The shooter, James T. Hodgkinson was a Bernie supporter who was obsessed with Trump-Russia conspiracy theories. He is now dead.
Hodgkinson asked lawmakers, “Are those Republicans or Democrats?” before gunning down Rep. Scalise and his security detail.
Despite the shooting of Republicans the annual Congressional Baseball Game was held last night in Washington DC.
Before the game players from both teams went on the field and kneeled in prayer. It was a special moment.

I whole heartedly agree with all you say. However as someone who grew up in da Bronex (not misspelled I feel a need to correct your spelling and “force” of this wonderful phrase.
Instead of your spelling, “forgetaboutit”, the proper way to spell this is, “FUHGEDABOUDIT!!!”. All caps and followed by 3 exclamation points. It is pronounced this way, “fuh GEDaBOUDit” with the accent on the parts in caps.

This has become standard operating procedure by the leftist media. They intentionally put out information they know is misleading or an outright lie, knowing they will have to issue a retraction afterwards. They don’t care. They know the majority of the people will hear the initial lie, but far fewer people will be aware of the retraction.
I'll take a run at this. By nature, all liberals belong to "The Church of I'm the Highest Moral Authority". Basically, the epitome of arrogant human secularism. There might be democrats who attend traditional Judeo-Christian services each week or on occasion, but each and every one of them employ some level of mental gymnastics or approach God's Word as an ala-carte menu in order to justify where they stand politically and socially.

Did Jeff Flake participate in that prayer group? I ask because I saw a remark by Flake here on FR, made only minutes before or minutes after that prayer time, berating POTUS for using the term “losers”. The only time POTUS has used that term since inauguration, was against muslim terrorists in Britain. Is Flake siding with terrorists now; against President Trump.
