Alex Jones released audio on Thursday night of his entire interview with Megyn Kelly saying he secretly recorded the controversial sit-down because he knew it was all crap.
The Infowars host posted a video online, along with a teaser clip, around 8:45 p.m. and claimed he would be posting the full tape on the conspiracy website later in the evening.
Ive never done this in 22 years, Ive never recorded another journalist, but I knew it was a fraud, that it was a lie, Jones said in the video, recalling how Kelly approached him about the interview. God, she was like, I want to get steaks with you, Im obsessed with you, oh my God, wiggling around in her seat. It was all crap, he explained. I knew it was all a lie. I said Sandy Hook happened, and she wouldnt even put it in the promo pieces. So were going to release, oh yeah, were going to release the pre-interview. And then when they put their fraud out on Sunday which Ive asked them not to air because theyre misrepresenting who I am and saying Im as bad as Saddam Hussein, or Jeffrey Dahmer, or Charles Manson weve got the whole interviews here Weve got it all Its all going to come out.
The clip that accompanied Jones tweet featured a short audio recording of Kelly, seemingly assuring the 43-year-old that her questions wouldnt be tough.
All I can do is give you my word and I dont double-cross, she can be heard saying at one point.

Theyre so prone to getting cute with the editing to make any given conservative interviewee appear to have said something that they didnt sayIf the phony editing keeps up it won't be long before an interview will look and sound like one of those really bad voice over Kung-Fu movies.
That presumes to know the terms of their agreement, which we do not.
Jones is shrewd enough to have caveat ex "I'm using this on my show to promote my show, too." And ms helmethead is absolutely dumb enough to have agreed. Listen to her loose talk on the excerpt jones already released! There would be NO case.
NOPE. Best not to tell them and do it secretly.
a thousand times THIS.
If you cannot bring an open press conference like Casebier did (a brave soul indeed), record record record. Better yet don't give them jack to begin with ...
Your way is better.
That's MeAgain.
I had a dog that used to do that.Worst breath ever.
Bodycams are a bit different. That falls under anything in public can be recorded scenario (in most states). Other than bathrooms and locker rooms, one does not have a reasonable right to privacy while in public.
I’m sure it can get dicey if you record someone whispering at a dinner table at Olive Garden, but anything loud enough to be heard is considered free game.
They should have let her air it first- THEN dropped the hammer on her
“Alex Jones is just entertainment...he admitted that in court.”
Probably an untrue statement about what he said.
He might be an entertainer, but he doesn’t do it just to entertain.
Homer Simpson interview (starts at :30, :58 is also typical)
Because while he is definitely eccentric, AJ is no fool.
He should have waited until after she aired the interview and misrepresented him.
Now she has time to edit it and make it look like she and NBC are not as bad as they are.
Wrong. Many states allow a party to a conversation to record that conversation.
Where it becomes illegal in most states is the recording of a conversation between others when you are not a part of that conversation and they do not give consent.
Megan Kelly bet her career on hilLIARy winning.
She thought she would jump to CNN and be a media darling, and President HilLIARy’s BFF for helping to take down Trump.
It was all local politics dealing with revenue enforcement, benign boring crap, truth be told, but she edited the interview to make it appear that I was calling in the Internal Revenue Service, the ATF and the DEA, relating to commercial vendors in the Worlds Longest Yard Sale.
Little did the bitch know that I also recorded the interview...it protected my job, but I didn't have the audience to get the truth out like she had to get the lies out...so even though I won, she won more since I was never able to publicly rebuke what she published.
I said then that I would never do another interview and despite several requests and one official directive to do so, I flat refused and never did do another one.
Screw the press...period.
It looks as if Texas is a one party consent state. I think the interview took place there. I’m not sure. I wonder how an interstate interview with conflicting laws would be handled.

As a general rule that is true but exceptions can be made. There was a case a few years ago when a man was sued (or prosecuted, I can't remember which) for placing a small camera on an open staircase so that it was aimed up the skirts of ladies walking on the staircase. The court ruled in the ladies' favor claiming that they had a reasonable right to privacy against someone aiming a camera up their skirts.
I agree, but, in this case, he has messed with them so that they will probably have to re-do the whole hack-job interview she has ready to air. My bet is they will cancel the airing.
