Oregon does have concealed carry with permit. Portland has been owned by democrats for decades. Fortunately, not being from that part of the state, I’m not aware if concealed carry is legal in the city. If it is legal, I doubt if many of the sheep-like residents would be armed. Another soft target for the antifa fascists.
Yes, Oregon has concealed carry. Permits are ‘on demand’, even in Portlandia.

Oregon is also an open-carry state, but cities and counties are free to limit public possession of loaded firearms by individuals who do not have an Oregon Concealed Handgun License.
If you are a vet and were certified re gun safety and have a copy of that and your discharge as a Oregon resident, you are eligible for a CC permit.

Now, as to Portland ... it was lost when i was there from ‘94 to ‘00.
We totally have CCW in Oregon, and it’s a lot more open than many states, you can carry in churches, bars, parks, sporting events, etc.
One thing happened, though. An alt-right reporter was attacked by the antifa’s and he pulled his concealed weapon, yelled at the crowd beating him to back up, and he swept the crowd, though not with his finger in the trigger guard.
