Huge mixed emotions on this one. Wanted no further involvement in Syria and possible regime change. Still think whatever might follow could be worse. At the same time, I’ve often thought if I were going to try to send a real message to Syria, or Iran or NK, this is what I’d do; used saturation bombing to destroy a military installation and make it clear that all bases and even government buildings could also be destroyed.
But Trump is so wrapped up in his emotional reaction to the deaths of children in a gas attack, that I worry if this has been thought through. And who knows what the motives of some of his globalist advisors are.
I seriously doubt Trump really cares about the death of a small number of children in Syria. I mean, not enough to go to war over. It is more than likely political posturing made necessary by the CIA's claim of 100% proof that Assad is behind the chemical strike.
The attacks will stop at this airfield where authorities are even saying they're not "targeting people." That even makes me wonder whether or not we gave them opportunity to evacuate before the strike.
