I always have celebrated my first sighting of a robin as the beginning of spring.

I’ve seen robins early in February. They usually beat what I call Spring by a few weeks. For me, it’s the blooming of the forsythia and applying the pre emergent fertilizer, which was last Sunday. Normally it would be next weekend.
