Moose is on FB a bit, but actually rather scarce in both places. I suspect that whatever he does for a living has kept him busy.
We’ve had strange weather here, for the Mojave Desert in the transitional phase between winter and spring. This week, it’s shaping up to be “normal,” but that may change by next week. ;o]
I’ve had “walking pneumonia,” but I didn’t put it on FB. My son knows, but my daughter doesn’t, and he only knows because I was gifted with one of his rare calls, which elicited the query, “Are you SICK, Mom?” Yeah. Like that.
Anyway, things are status quo. You have been missed, in both places that I frequent. I hope all is well with you. Is your FiL still raising cane?
Good evening ,
Hope we are all well.
I’m just in quiet mode at the moment.
Still popping in every day to see the Kittie pic and check for pings.
I’ve got a few pics to post, in a day or two.
Stay well.
Read you’d been under the weather. Glad you pulled thru w/o extraordinary medical attention; pneumonia has a bad rep for being particularly nasty to folks already dealing with compromised health.
FiL waves his cane around a fair bit, but since he’s over at the residence facility I don’t have to hear it.
The internet gold digger helped him decide he wanted to spend the money to divorce his separated wife. Three guesses why, and the first two don’t count.
We jumped all over that and worked with MiL’s atty to achieve getting an actual, full-length evidentiary hearing on the docket in early July.
The Big Hearing RE accounting comes up at the end of this month, so we’ll be back in OR for several days. Mrs. HK went up and sat for an in-person deposition two weeks ago. She was able to totally blow up FiL’s attorney’s case theory. Whether he changes tack, or not, remains to be seen; he could still push it — flaws and all — when we get to the courthouse.
I may have some leverage over a little something I need to discuss with the Douglas County District Attorney, but we’ll see. Ace-in-the-hole ‘n’ all.
Takin’ it to the mats one way or another.
