Actually, the media did make DT.
During the primary campaign, the enemedia thought they were doing a service to the left, by picking, in their view, the weakest of the 17 candidates to give 95% of the airtime and stories. DT was supposed to be, for the left, the flawed candidate Hillary's ticket to the White House.
If it were not for the media, perhaps DT would not have soared from the single digits where he was early in the campaign. We'd might have had tippy toes as the nominee, a much surer path to the WH for hillary than Trump ever was.
Recall the Coulter interview when all the leftists present laughed when she cited DT as the best positioned candidate to win the White House.
