I missed what is going on with Kellyanne. I keep hearing that the left is going after her but not what issue specifically.

I think all they have on Kellyanne is that she said, buy Ivanka’s products on Fox. The media and Dims are in a tizzy over this and saying she broke ethics rules. I heard a lawyer (or maybe it was Judge Napolitano) say that she didn’t b/c she’s not involved in the company and isn’t getting anything from it (monetary or otherwise). It was an innocent comment and mistake (essentially she’s a newbie in government, so she may not have thought anything of it).
Elijah Cummings (ugh) and Jason Chaffetz sent a letter to the Ethics council (I may not have name right - forget the actual name) asking for investigation. I’m disappointed in Chaffetz for being involved in this, but perhaps he felt if he didn’t Elijah and the Dims would make a bigger deal out of it. And, by sending the letter, Kellyanne would be cleared and the Dims would shut their pie holes. She said she had been “counseled” by the President.
I’ve noticed in her interviews of late that she isn’t always as forthcoming (if that’s the right word) as she used to be, but rather says things like: I’m not going to comment on that or refers them to a specific agency for comment.
