Pardon my ignorance Ray but what does “cloture invoked” mean?
I scratched my head on that one for awhile.
It means the the discussion is now limited for the nominee in question. The limit is 30 hours divided equally between dems and repubs. Republicans usually limit their time considerably. If the dims don’t like a nominee they will blabber for 15 hours......
