WHEN YOU PAY FEDERAL INCOME TAX, WHERE DO YOUR EMPLOYER/S AND/OR YOU SEND THE CHECK?
...WHEN YOU PAY FEDERAL INCOME TAX, WHERE DO YOUR EMPLOYER/S AND/OR YOU SEND THE CHECK?...
.My check is made out to the IRS. They frown if it’s not sent.
The Feds shut down businesses that fail to send in tax withholdings, and prosecute when it’s not done.
I send mine to San Francisco. Maybe the IRS should move to Phoenix? ‘Cause by the time they get to Phoenix she’ll be rising. ;-)
If you owe money on your tax balance, you can make your payment by mailing a check or money order to the IRS. In some cases, you may receive an IRS notice showing your balance and where to send your payment. Or you can use Form 1040-V (Payment Voucher) to pay the amount due on your Form 1040, Form 1040A, or Form 1040EZ.
