A very good start. The State Department is suppose to have professionals, that implement policy and advise the nation's elected leaders, not dictate policy.

My personal feeling is that far too many have gotten “involved” with the identity of the local politicians they deal with and want to prop up the existing governments rather than influence the Countries and assist US business and tourist interests.

Again, they can be replaced. Fresh blood is good with a regime change in WA DC.
