In the first few days of the Trump administration, whitehouse.gov lost its Spanish pages and content about civil rights, LGBT rights, global warming and regulations while adding a new statement about Americas dangerous anti-police atmosphere.

I remember reading on Jan. 20, 2009, the moment Obama took office, the White House website immediately had insulting references to President George W. Bush (attacking him over Katrina)...later removed, but a good indication of the kind of people who were now in charge.
Please do not forget the Bantu and Xhosa languages which use clicking sounds.
Though how one transcribes those is beyond me. Suppose one would have to peruse their vast body of literature to find out.
I believe characters like the exclamation point are used to represent the click sounds in these languages. They seem to have originated with the San (Bushman) and Hottentot people (so-called Khoisan languages) and some neighboring languages like Xhosa picked up some of the sounds.
