I do not financially support those organizations who seem to profess political views opposed to mine. Some of those organizations are:
1. Hollywood and the films they produce.
2. Mainstream media news and programs.
3. Sports
I also make a point of telling my friends that if they do not like the general political tone coming from Hollywood, the media, and sports then they should stop watching or reading any product made by them.
So I will have no problem doing something else on Super Bowl Sunday.
I do not watch the Super Bowl, nor NFL. Have not watched either in many years. I especially skip the Super Bowl—great time to go shopping or to the range as there are no crowds.
My team isn’t in it, so it’s #NotMySuperBowl.
Won’t have any problems boycotting. :-)
Cowboys fans don’t care about the Super Bowl this year.
Don't come across like the hags that marched to express their sexual frustration.
Folks will think you ain't gettin' none...
;^)
The Pats are in so there is no way short of catastrophe that I miss this game.
I can’t stop what I never started to do, but I hope enough people do it to make a statement.
Um no - I’m not going to mix politics with entertainment, so I will be watching the game.
I actually think that the SB is not the best time because there are so many parties that fewer individual TVs are on the game.
Everyone I know who loves football will either have a party or be at a party.
Finally cut the cord last week and get all networks except CBS so I wont be watching by default.
I really have no interest in this, might have had the Packers won.
I certainly have absolutely no interest in seeing Lady GaGa.
The Superbowl has turned into a Lurid Spectacle I can live without.
I tell you if there was a cable channel showing old NFL games from the 1960’s and 70’s I wold watch it. Those were the Golden and Glory years. Today’s product id just boring and worthless.
Sorry, can’t go along with boycott. Being a Falcon fan and Atlantan since 1974, these opportunities don’t come around too often.
Regarding the Colin Kaepernick part, remember his team was 2-14, and will probably be 0-16 next year if he is on the team.
1 - the league doesn’t make any money on the SB directly, the network makes the money, hoping to earn back what they’re already paying the league, and will be paying through the 2020 season
2 - if you’re not a Neilsen family they don’t know if you’re watching
3 - the boycotters are doing a lot more mixing politics and football than the league
And finally 4 - Super Bowls that have New England are great games, I ain’t boycotting that
I’d rather watch mold grow on cheese than to watch Brady prance around like the prima donna he is.. as for the NFL,, maybe they could add some new rules for the blind officials to master..
