SEATTLE (AP/WSVN) A Seattle man is accused of posing as a porn recruiter and tricking women into having sex with him. Now he can add a consumer protection complaint to the criminal rape charges he is facing.
Washington Attorney General Bob Ferguson said Wednesday that he sued Michael-Jon Matthew Hickey under the state Consumer Protection Act and the Commercial Electronic Mail Act, seeking restitution and thousands of dollars in penalties.
Hickeys been held on $200,000 bail at the King County Jail on three counts of second-degree rape since his arrest in Las Vegas in October.
Authorities say he created deceptive email accounts and websites; posed as a photographer for a female-owned adult industry talent agency; and persuaded women to pose nude and have sex with him as part of a phony audition.
See plenty of ads by guys who are probably just like him on CL.
There’s a song that goes “I’ve never been to bed with an ugly woman but I’ve woken up with a few...”
What’s more, minors can engage in “child care services” below minimum wage and with no benefits package or license.
It’s called “babysitting”.
“...Michael-Jon Matthew Hickey.” His last name is Hickey?
Takes me back to high school days.
In Israel, an Arab man was charged with rape because he told a Jewish woman he was Jewish...
in a just met, lunch time hook up.
I remember many years ago a guy was running the same scam on girls in San Antonio.
But here is the kicker: They came down to meet him at his furniture store and still bought into the story that this was an audition for porn movies. A furniture store? Really? Were those girls brain dead?
Of course, the beds were right there so they didn’t have to use an office couch.
He may not be a porn producer/agent YET but he has the necessary skills.
There’s a gag at the opener of the British Lock Stock & (two smoking barrels) tv show:
The lads are running a pub and one of the mates walks in a sees a line of birds waiting to take their shirts off. He asks one of his friends, “what’s all this about?”
“We’re auditioning topless waitresses.”
“Now hold on, we don’t have money for that.”
“I know that, and you know that, but they don’t know that.” (knowing glance and a head not at a video camera on the wall).
Later the proprietors sit in a back room, beers in hand, to view the tape and one of them is standing directly in front of the camera, the back of his head bobbing up and down the hole time.
You’ve got to admire his balls.
As having sex with a woman binds your soul to her, this fool not only ignored the biblical warning that a harlots path leads to hell, he sought out the most stupid ones he could find.

Woman Has Nasty Surprise Between Her Legs, Caught In Sick Sex Scheme (June 16, 2016)
News is breaking that a well-known journalist has been busted for a sick online sex scheme, leaving many shocked, but not as shocked as the victims of the ordeal, who found out the woman had a nasty surprise between her legs when it was too late.
Matt Hickey is a journalist known for his work on tech issues, so when news broke that he was involved in an online sex scheme, people were shocked.
Police are investigating Hickeys sick sex scheme, which ultimately resulted in one woman trying to kill herself. As details emerge, the lengths this man went to and how at least six women were duped into thinking Hickey was a woman are beyond shocking.
Hickey, a Seattle-based freelance journalist who has written for Gizmodo and Forbes, allegedly set out a fake female account on Facebook advertising porn auditions. Under the name Deja Stwalley, Hickey allegedly messaged young women on Facebook and set up auditions with her ex-boyfriend Matt.
According to The Stranger, he would say that the sex had to be part of the process in order to convince production companies that they were comfortable with having sex with strangers. One woman, 19-year-old Allysia Bishop, showed up for the photo shoot with Hickey, who plied her with alcohol. After he finished taking photos, he promised her that the movies they would make would be just soft porn, and she would make $450.00 dollars an hour.
Hickey then attacked her, engaging her in sex. When Bishop told him to stop, he said the sex with him off camera was part of the audition. Bishop went along, saying she was so drunk she almost blacked out. Later that day, she slit her wrists in a suicide attempt.
The other women gave similar stories, and until a day ago, they thought that Stwalley was a real person and that a woman had recruited them. Police discovered through their investigation that Hickey was Stwalley, and the woman in the photo Hickey used as his online persona was Lauren McGrath, a freelance journalist and bouncer.
The sad thing is, the Seattle Police Department is finding it difficult to make a case. Sex under false pretenses is rarely prosecuted as rape, though activists argue that it should be. States including California, Tennessee, Alabama, and Michigan have rape laws that criminalize consent obtained by trickery.
they were willing to have sex in front of a camera for all to see but not with him in private? Interesting. What virtue!
When you read further, it appears this guy may have been drugging their drinks and having sex with the women after they passed out.
Shocking isn’t it??? ROFL...with women that wanted to be porn stars no less!!! The horror of it all. The fact that he’s in jail for rape is troubling.
Tricked? What were the women looking for?
And this is news? And rape? WTF?
...but of course! I don’t understand your confusion?? lol ;p
It is liberal logic. This is what happens when people think they’re smarter than everyone, they become fools. This is a good example.
That said, maybe your last one was meant to be “OK”? - I don’t think it’s illegal.
Sex under false pretenses is rarely prosecuted as rape, though activists argue that it should be.
So women who color their hair, put on make up and act sane...are rapists?
What happened to the freedom of expression?
