SEATTLE (AP/WSVN) A Seattle man is accused of posing as a porn recruiter and tricking women into having sex with him. Now he can add a consumer protection complaint to the criminal rape charges he is facing.
Washington Attorney General Bob Ferguson said Wednesday that he sued Michael-Jon Matthew Hickey under the state Consumer Protection Act and the Commercial Electronic Mail Act, seeking restitution and thousands of dollars in penalties.
Hickeys been held on $200,000 bail at the King County Jail on three counts of second-degree rape since his arrest in Las Vegas in October.
Authorities say he created deceptive email accounts and websites; posed as a photographer for a female-owned adult industry talent agency; and persuaded women to pose nude and have sex with him as part of a phony audition.
ROFL
Would it be criminal to ask someone applying to be a sauce chef to make some sauce (and for the interviewer to then eat a meal using that sauce)?
“You got me to cook for free!”.
I’d toss out the case AND the prosecutor.
I'm curious where they got rape charges from.
Is it a crime to receive sex that was precipitated on lying about who you are?
So if I tell a young actress that I'm a porn producer and I'll get her a job if she has sex with me and she does, is it rape if I were lying? What if I told her I was rich? Or I was actually Brad Pitt? Does the sex no longer become consensual when she learns afterwards that I am, in fact, not Brad Pitt?
Probably got a bunch of Liberal soccer moms to try out for the parts.
Good candid camera gummick. Instead of Alan Funt it would be...
You may have broken laws by typing that.
And we are all breaking laws by reading it.
Tricking someone into having sex with you with the promise that they may see future employment of having sex with other people: RAPE
Tricking someone into having sex with you (transgender) under the promise that you are a member of the opposite sex: protected status, any outrage is cisgender hate
Tricking someone into having sex with you (AIDS victim) without disclosing the disease is headed toward protected legal status (the homofascist advocacy groups are working to repeal all such laws because of AIDS Pride and all that)...
Never mind. The rape charges stem from having sex with women who were too intoxicated to give consent.
As if women interested in the porn industry need to be tricked into performing their tricks....
>>Does the sex no longer become consensual when she learns afterwards that I am, in fact, not Brad Pitt?
That’s the basis for far too many “date rape” claims. Morning after buyer’s remorse.
Good point. What if a woman you met at a bar slept with you because you told her you were rich, worth millions.
Can you get arrested the next day when she finds out you’re broke?
What if she slept with him because he said she was beautiful and the next day told the truth? Prison?
Can’t ‘rape’ the willing.
What a joke.
None of these women were raped. None.
If you were an underaged porn director who did this and used only underaged gals it’d be legal for everyone come Jan. 1.
Forgot to say - in California.
This guy must have also done the Virginia college fake rapes reported by Rolling Stone.
No pictures of the “victims?”
LOL!
How dare he besmirch the good reputation of the porn industry /s
Since when is selling your labor, be it mowing lawns, washing cars, raking leaves, building a structure, building a car, painting a portrait and more "legal", but doing the wild thang isn't?
Government has me sooooo confused.
